I primarily work out of Barefoot Recording & Gadgetbox Studios, which both have enough equipment to make any craigslisting gear-jockey go ga-ga. However, I also have a personal mix room and have on location recording equipment as well. Again, all of this is really dependent on what kind of project you have and what kind of results you want to achieve.
in the studio:
SF Bay Area/Central Coast: http://www.gadgetbox.net
Los Angeles: http://www.barefoot-recording.com
mix room/on location:
- digidesign pro tools hd|2 system
- lynx aurora 16 a/d/a converters
- yamaha ns-10m passive nearfields
- microphones from coles, shure, audio-technica, rode, oktava
- enough stands/cables to record a full band pretty much anywhere.
